“Marsabit” è un’opera d’arte monumentale alta più di quattro metri che rappresenta attraverso un magma in allumino fluido l’impronta di un albero che tocca appena terra. Questa fusione artistica in alluminio al quale sto lavorando sarà una metafora della vita stessa, come l’energia vitale che si manifesta attraverso il fluire costante del sangue, dell’aria e dell’acqua, trasformandosi e mutando, in un processo di evoluzione continua. “Marsabit” vuole rappresentare una riflessione sul tema dell’effimero e del transitorio… il mio segno fluido, infatti, è come se fosse destinato a mutare e trasformarsi nel tempo, fino a scomparire completamente. Questo segno rappresenta l’impermanenza della vita, una tematica che mi sta particolarmente a cuore e ci invita spesso a riflettere sulla natura transitoria dell’esistenza umana, e sull’importanza di cogliere ogni istante della nostra vita con consapevolezza e gratitudine. Scelta, Permanenza e Radici sono state tre parole importanti nella vita di Don Tablino, su di esse e sulle testimonianze dirette ho focalizzato la mia ricerca artistica… Spero che soprattutto i giovani del quartiere Piave dal quale provengo e dove ho vissuto tutta la mia infanzia possano custodire “Marsabit” tramandando alle future generazioni attraverso la mia opera la vita di Don Paolo Tablino, uomo straordinario!”
‘Marsabit’ is a monumental artwork more than four metres high, representing through a fluid aluminium magma the imprint of a tree barely touching the ground. This aluminium artistic fusion I am working on will be a metaphor for life itself, like the vital energy that manifests itself through the constant flow of blood, air and water, transforming and changing, in a process of continuous evolution. “Marsabit” wants to represent a reflection on the theme of the ephemeral and transitory… my fluid sign, in fact, is as if it were destined to change and transform over time, until it disappears completely. This sign represents the impermanence of life, a theme that is particularly close to my heart and often invites us to reflect on the transitory nature of human existence, and the importance of seizing every moment of our lives with awareness and gratitude. Choice, Permanence and Roots were three important words in Don Tablino’s life, and I have focused my artistic research on them and on direct testimonies… I hope that especially the young people of the Piave district where I come from and where I lived all my childhood can preserve ‘Marsabit’, passing on to future generations through my work the life of Don Paolo Tablino, an extraordinary man!
