“Di Blasi ha realizzato una scultura in vetroresina che si chiama ‘Mitosi’. È una forma che lui ha trattato con resina e oro e che sembra svilupparsi direttamente da un vecchio muro in mattoni a vista dell’asilo comunale di Piscina, poi distrutto quando è stato ristrutturato il municipio, è rimasto affascinato da questo frammento perché è un pezzo di storia e la sua opera sembra proprio nascere e avere una continuità con la storia del paese”.

Di Blasi has created a sculpture in fiberglass called ‘Mitosi’. It is a form that he has treated with resin and gold and that seems to develop directly from an old exposed brick wall of the municipal nursery school of Piscina, later destroyed when the town hall was renovated. He was fascinated by this fragment because it is a piece of history and his work seems to be born and have a continuity with the history of the town”.
